2.     An anti-phishing process called a SIN (a service provider identification number)

Anti-phishing process called a SIN (a service provider identification number) can be an edge for any financial institution/payment platform to become the safest player compared to its competitors, protecting their users from phishing and losses due to the same.

Just like an OTP verifies a user to a service provider, the patent of SIN is to do the opposite, to verify the service provider to its user, and hence block phishing scams from unauthorized users posing to be from the said organization.

Most financial scams happen when someone emails or calls and claims to be from a company or financial institution and requests some data. Then, that data is used to steal from the user.

However, if a user sets up a SIN on the service provider’s website or app, he can identify whether the caller or person contacting him is indeed from the claimed business.

E.g., you set your SIN with Paytm as 112233

Now you get a call from someone from PayTM, and they tell you, I am from PayTM, and I am verifying myself with SIN. You get an SMS from PayTM saying that PayTM verifies the agent on the call with you and that your SIN is 112233. I know the agent is indeed from PayTM, and I can speak.

Any company with this patent and uses this process can project an extra layer of safety to their users compared to the competition, giving them an edge in positioning and customer acquisition.

8.     100% Natural Herbal Topical Ointment for Insomnia (Sleep), Stress & Pain (Inflammation)

There are various drugs and formulations available for treating pain, stress, and sleep disorders.  Pain is a major symptom of many medical conditions and can significantly interfere with a person’s quality of life and general functioning. Pain ranges from mild discomfort or dull distress to acute, often unbearable agony and may be generalized or localized. NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs), such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen, are among the most frequently used prescription and over-the-counter drugs used to alleviate symptoms in acute and chronic inflammatory conditions inducing pain if patients continue to face the significant challenge of their severe complications like gastrointestinal (GI) and renal adverse effects.

Stress is increasing tremendously, particularly among the urban population, resulting in various types of stress-related disorders. Numerous treatments are used to overcome stress, ranging from aromatherapy to administration of therapeutic drugs. Aroma therapy involves inhalation of essential oils. However, it is observed that inhalation may or may not be suitable for all, as it can cause irritation to sensitive mucous membranes and damage the smell receptors inside the nose. Prolonged inhalation of concentrated essential oils can cause headaches, vertigo, dizziness, nausea, and lethargy. Thus, such therapy for relieving stress could rather aggravate stress or cause other undesirable effects. Administration of therapeutic drugs by oral or intravenous route needs supervision and intervention of a doctor, posing limitations to their application. Further, they have delayed onset of action and adverse side effects, e.g. Benzodiazepines, which may be used to treat stress, have potentially addictive effects on the patient.

Insomnia, or sleeplessness, a sleep disorder caused by stress or other etiology, is highly prevalent and affects approximately 30% of the general population. Chronically restricted sleep has become a severe and widespread problem today. Insomnia impairs cognitive and physical functioning and is associated with a wide range of impaired daytime functions across several emotional, social, and physical domains and could lead to other disorders and health risks. At present the frontline therapy for insomnia are antihistamines, benzodiazepines and non-benzodiazepines. These drugs have various harmful effects; for instance, drugs for insomnia are habit-forming and are thus harmful to the patient. Newer sleep-inducing drugs include Zolpidem, which again shows many side effects, the most important being next-day drowsiness, rebound insomnia, dependency and abuse.

G. ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY

1.     Conventional compressor with improvised cooling system and multi-speed arrangement

In a conventional compressor, the working fluid is compressed in various stages. As the working fluid is compressed, its temperature increases. This hot working fluid is then cooled in an external cooler to reduce the temperature before entering the next stage of the compressor.

In this arrangement, a lot of energy is wasted, and much more energy is required to compress working fluid. To understand more simply, consider an infinitesimally small section of the compression process on the entropy enthalpy diagram. As the working fluid is Getting compressed, its temperature increases, and hence its entropy also increases.

Since the working fluid is hotter after the first section, more energy is required to increase its pressure in the next infinitesimally small section. This results in a further increase in working fluid temperature and, hence, a further increase in entropy.

Hence, it can be seen that the cumulative effect results in a much higher energy demand that is required for the same compression. The proposed system is planned to continuously remove heat energy from working fluid so that undue temperature rise is avoided at every compression stage.

The significant advantage of ring header arrangement is that every compressor stage receives coolant at the same temperature. This helps maintain cooling efficiency from the inlet to the compressor outlet. The ring header arrangement is shown in the sketch below.

7. A T and Inverse T-Shaped Valve For An Inlet Port Of A Fuel Injection Pump:

It is an invention that selectively permits low pressure fuel from a fuel gallery of a high-pressure fuel pump to be channeled into a pumping chamber via a T-shaped valve and restricts the flow of fuel from the pumping chamber back to the fuel gallery during a pressurization stroke of the plunger of the high pressure-fuel pump.

The T and inverse T-shaped valve selectively permits the flow of low-pressure fuel from a fuel gallery to a pumping chamber of the high-pressure fuel pump during the suction stroke of the plunger. However, during the pressurization stroke of the plunger, as the plunger translates towards its top dead center position, the T-shaped valve restricts the flow of fuel back to the fuel gallery via the inlet port. Therefore, the efficiency of the high-pressure pump may be substantially enhanced without any significant increase in capital cost.

The T and inverse T-shaped valve has been indigenously developed by a sole inventor. Its design is versatile as it can by modularly manufactured and inserted within the fuel inlet port of the high-pressure fuel pump.

It is a disruptive printed circuit board cooling technology that overcomes the shortcomings of cooling the printed circuit board by blowing cool air over the surface of the heated printed circuit board.

A substate contains a plurality of microchannels (evaporator section) that are in flow communication with a compressor, a condenser, and an expansion valve at its opposing ends. As refrigerant flows through the compressor, it gets heated to a high temperature and is at high pressure. Therein, the pressurized refrigerant is channeled to a condenser where a cooling fan blows cold air on the condenser to cool the refrigerant while maintaining its pressure. From the condenser, the refrigerant is channeled to an expansion valve that throttles the refrigerant thereby decreasing it temperature and pressure substantially, and channeling the refrigerant through the plurality of microchannels defined in the substate. The refrigerant on flowing through the substrate cools the printed circuit board that is positioned on the substrate by convection. Therefore, the efficiency of the Printed Circuit Board may be substantially enhanced without any significant increase in capital cost.

The Cooling System For the Printed Circuit Board has been indigenously developed by a sole inventor. Its design is versatile and can be positioned on any heated printed circuit board to rapidly cool the printed circuit board and maintain its temperature within an optimum working range. It can also be used for heat dissipation in high temperature printed circuit boards such as in gaming devices.

12. A Heat Pipe Integrated Within A Fastener

It is a fastener cooling technology that overcomes the shortcomings of cooling the mating surfaces of the fastener / mating surfaces by traditional means by transferring the heat away from the fastener by conduction.

The fastener has a bore drilled through its head portion and its shank portion. Therein, a heat pipe containing a working fluid is inserted through the head portion and the shank portion of the fastener. Once the shank portion of the fastener comes in contact with its heated mating surface, it absorbs the heat and transfers the heat to the heat pipe via convection. Once the heat pipe that is positioned within the shank portion of the fastener receives the heat from the shank portion of the fastener, the working fluid absorbs this heat and evaporates. The evaporated working fluid flows through the longitudinal length of the fastener towards its head portion where the heat is dissipated substantially and subsequently condenses. The condensed working fluid at low temperature is absorbed by a wick structure at the head portion of the fastener and is transported to the shank portion of the fastener by capillary action. Once the working fluid reaches the shank portion of the fastener, it absorbs heat from the shank portion of the fastener and is transported once more to the head portion of the fastener by convection in a cycle. Therefore, the thermal efficiency of transferring heat from the shank portion of the fastener to the head portion of the fastener may be substantially enhanced for high thermal conductivity applications without any significant increase in capital cost.

The Heat Pipe Integrated Within the Fastener has been indigenously developed by a sole inventor. Its design is versatile and can be integrated within fasteners of different thermal conductivities to substantially enhance its thermal conductivity and maintain its temperature within an optimum working range.
