IP Valuation

Commercializing of IPR involves IP leveraging and IP financing. IP leveraging basically includes leveraging the value of the firm using IPR in a commercial transaction such as that of merger, acquisition, takeover, technology transfer, etc., while IP financing includes auctioning, securitization and collateralization of IPR in raising finances by creating a charge on the IPR. Both these commercialization activities involve valuation of IPR.
