Origiin IP Services is founded by Ms Bindu Sharma with an objective of spreading awareness on IPR laws and providing IP services to companies and academic institutes. She is MSc in Microbiology from Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, Himachal Prtadesh (India), PG Diploma in Bioinformatics from Bioinformatics Institute of India, Delhi (India), PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from National Law School of India University, Bangalore (India) and General Course in Intellectual Property Rights from WIPO Worldwide Academy, Geneva (Switzerland). She is also a Registered Patent Agent at Indian Patent Office (Registration number: 1055). To further enhance her skills in this area she is presently doing LLB. She has presented many papers in symposium/conferences and has paper publications in reputed journals.

She has around 8 years of excellent work experience in premium academic institutes and industries in India such as National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, New Delhi, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (India) and Jubilant Biosys Pvt Ltd, Bangalore (India).

She has been practicing as Intellectual Property Consultant since August, 2005 where she is handling variety of tasks such as formulating IP policy, process setup, filing patent application, framing license agreements and preparing applications for copyright protection and conducting IP awareness sessions etc.
